This software is a very handy tool for simple retaining wall design jobs to help you calculate lateral earth pressures in static and dynamic (earthquake) conditions. All you need to do is to specify the soil parameters and retaining wall coefficients.

Reference

Earth pressure coefficients are calculated based on Rankine and Coulomb formulas in static condition and Mononobe - Okabe formulas in earthquake conditions.

 

 

 

 

 

Main Features

User enters the F, d, a for the retained soil and backslope angle (please see following screenshot). This is a very simple and fast solution for regular retaining wall jobs. Just get the lateral earth pressure coefficients (Ka, Ko, Kp, Kae, Kpe) from the software and go to the next phase of design.
